Are you a fabric hoarder?
I realize I have a terrible problem with hoarding fabric. I can't seem to stop buying more and more (and more)! I see a beautiful print and MUST have it to make the perfect boutique set in the very near future. Then I store it away for when I have time to get to it. In the meantime I find more beautiful prints that I MUST have. And yes, same thing happens. Then I stumble across that first perfect print and can't remember what I wanted to make with it. Sooooooooo, I put it away and buy even more! It is a vicious circle. It is also a good thing my husband does not mind my fabric addiction! I just love fabrics and I just love having it around!

I love to sew!
My mother was an avid quilt maker. She also made beautiful Barbie Doll Wedding Dresses. My Barbie dolls were the best dressed dolls in town. When I was growing up, I never understood her love of sewing. Now I understand.
When my daughter was about 5 years old, she wanted new clothes for her 18" play doll. So, I bought a few patterns and dragged out the old sewing machine that my mother gave me when I was 20 (it has been hiding in a closet for about about 25 years). I was hooked after the first doll dress!
It was a small step from doll clothes to Children's Boutique Clothing. My friends and family encouraged me to take that step. I now have a sewing room. Not just a sewing machine, a sewing ROOM. I have developed a terrible fabric addiction. More on that later...
